Office Manager
Cindy Charette is our Hospital Manager and has been working at Cumberland Veterinary Hospital since September 1997. Cindy has 3 sons, Caleb ,Marshall and Jackson. Cindy lives on a hobby farm and has many animals at home; among them are cats, dogs, horses, a rabbit and a donkey.

Diane Martin is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Ridgetown College in 2001, and has been with us since then. Diane’s areas of special interest include animal behaviour and rehabilitation medicine. Diane has 1 dog, Jax and 2 cats, Elmo and Thor.

Sarah Notman is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from St. Lawrence College in Kingston in 2002 and came to us in 2004. Sarah’s areas of special interest are feline medicine, behaviour, dentistry and animal rehabilitation. Sarah has 3 cats, Bug, Abby and Indy.

Aly Lepkey is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Algonquin College here in Ottawa in 2008. She started working here in 2006 and was previously a receptionist/veterinary assistant. Since graduating, she has joined our technician team. She has a dog, Douglas and a cat, Munki.

Veterinary Assistant
Jenn Thomas is a Veterinary Assistant who has been with us since 1997. She started as a co-op and never left. Jenn is currently in the Veterinary Technician program at Algonquin College. She has 3 cats, Pippin, Scraggles, and Rolo and a rat named Tissue.
Receptionists
Wendy Jones has been a member of our reception staff since January 2004. She has 2 cats, Gypsy and Lucifer and a new dog Reece! 
Debbie Smith has been a member of our reception staff since February 2007. She has 2 dogs Katie and Dakota and 2 cats Harley and Gizmo.

Lynn van den Ham has been a member of our reception staff since 1999. She has a German Shepherd named Jack and a Labrador Retriever, Piet. 
Katie O’Reilly has been a member of our reception staff since June 2007. She first joined us as a high school co-op, she is now a full-time receptionist. She has a family dog Ollie and a rat Montgomery.

Shannon Moyes is a member of our reception staff as of September 2008. She has 4 cats Petrie, Lulu, Rascal and Bo as well as a dog, Abbie and 2 horses Brie and Bromby.
Sally MacMaster has been a member of our reception staff since August 2008. She has 2 cats Fred and Victoria as well as 2 dogs, Dexter and Cedar.
Deanna Ellis has been a member of our team since May 2009. She is currently in school at Ottawa University studying Biology and Earth Sciences. She has 2 cats Minoux and Parker.
Assistants
Jen Cheater is our vet assistant. She has been with us since July 2009. In her spare time she she enjoys riding her horse, Luc.
Alex Mullen is kennel assistant, he has been with us since October 2008. He has 1 dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniels named Rosie.
Jamie Wolfe Phillips is our new vet assistant. She is currently in her 2nd year at Algonquin College in the Veterinary Technician program. She has an aray of pets at home including 2 parrots, Briar and Rista and a cat Sooty.
