Darcy joined the Cumberland Veterinary Hospital team part-time as a veterinary assistant in September 2021. She brings a deep love for animals and a strong commitment to animal welfare to her role. She shares her home with four beloved foster fails - Janet, Mila, Monty, and Finch - all adopted through the Avery Foundation, a volunteer-run, foster-based animal rescue she has supported since 2014 and helped lead since 2018. In addition to her own pets, she regularly welcomes foster animals into her home. Outside the clinic, Darcy balances a full-time career with her ongoing rescue work.
